Location: Onsite highly preferred; Columbia, SC open to Remote

Interview: Remote but can ask for onsite

Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (possible overtime to meet project timelines)

Full-stack Java/Java EE & JavaScript development with AWS/Azure cloud migration experience, AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, EKS/ECS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), CI/CD & DevSecOps (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), monitoring (CloudWatch/Splunk), security compliance (NIST 800-53, FedRAMP), Agile, and Medicare domain experience.

Minimum Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

8 years of application development, systems testing, or related experience

Required Skills & Technologies:

Full-stack development in Java/Java EE and JavaScript frameworks

Agile methodology and Medicare experience

Hands-on cloud experience (AWS or Azure), including lift-and-shift or re-platforming

Designing resilient, high-availability, fault-tolerant systems using Cloud Well-Architected Framework

AWS services: EC2, Lambda, RDS, Aurora, S3, VPC, IAM, EKS/ECS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Secrets Manager

Logging and monitoring: Splunk, CloudWatch, X-Ray

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation

CI/CD & DevSecOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Selenium, SonarQube, Snyk, AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps

Security & compliance frameworks: NIST 800-53, FedRAMP

Section 508 accessibility and WCAG standards

Nice to Have:

Serverless architectures and cloud security best practices

Cloud certifications

Containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS/Fargate, Kubernetes)

Secure coding, IAM, and compliance knowledge (HIPAA, FedRAMP)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Lead design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications

Review code merges and monitor CI/CD pipelines

Build and integrate AWS-based solutions (compute, storage, serverless)

Collaborate with architects to align solutions with business and technical standards
