COBOL Programmer

Here is a new role for Westchester County NY

This role candidate have to be on Site 5 days a week,

They work a 35hr work week,

Rate 70hr

They start with a teams interview but will do a F2F interview,

This role is a 2 year plus role

Position Description:

Requirements

• Bachelor¿s Degree or a Master¿s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and 5 years of software development experience in design and development of Enterprise Applications using Microfocus COBOL.

• Experience in design and development of applications on Windows and UNIX platforms including shell scripting.

• Extensive experience with databases, writing queries, packages and stored procedures using Oracle 9i and Oracle 10g (SQL and PL/SQL).

• Strong communication and analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks as well as work independently in a team.

• Experience with Business Objects, CGI Advantage ERP systems, LINUX and Oracle 11g is a plus.

• Candidates have to have recent Microfocus and PL/SQL exp
