Title: Data Conversion Specialist
Location: Remote (as always, they could ask them to travel onsite to Baton Rouge, LA, on rare occasions. If they travel, it would be a 1 week trip and travel costs would be paid)

Description:
Job Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Analyze and map data from the old system to the new one.
Develop and implement data conversion plans.
Design and execute data validation and testing processes.
Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data conversion process.
Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to define and prioritize data conversion requirements.
Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, and documentation to internal staff for all requested work.
Participate by providing feedback and detailed design and implementation approaches in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies.
Cooperation with Technical Architect and other technical teams to ensure compliance with standards of clients applications.
Perform all other tasks, special projects, analysis, studies, and plans as directed.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory :
Two (2) plus years advanced SQL experience writing complex queries, joins, and stored procedures to identify anomalies and transform data types.
Two (2) plus years ETL experience using enterprise tools (Informatica, SSIS) or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) to move data from Point A to Point B.
Four (4) plus years' experience working on data migration or data integration projects with specific experience in Data Profiling, Schema Mapping, Data Normalization, and Error Handling
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
Experience with creating documentation such as data mapping documents and data dictionaries
Experience working on a development team.
Experience with client engagements on design, delivery, deployment and on-going maintenance.
Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
