Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Pleasanton, CA or Dallas, TX preferred, remote is acceptable
Length: 6-10 months
BigQuery(Advanced proficiency), GCS, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer , ETL , Data Warehousing concepts, Event Streaming, Python, Prior Media Monetization domain/RMN expertise needed.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Data Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools and a strong understanding of Retail Media Network (RMN) data. This role will focus on building scalable data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and supporting media monetization initiatives.
Your Skills & Experience:
• 4-5+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in a media or retail environment.
• Advanced proficiency in BigQuery, GCS, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and event streaming.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and pipeline development.
• Prior experience working with Retail Media Network (RMN) data and media monetization strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Your Impact:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and BigQuery.
• Implement and optimize data warehousing solutions to support analytics and reporting.
• Work with event streaming technologies to process real-time data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ingest, transform, and model RMN data for media monetization use cases.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across all pipelines.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Python for data processing tasks.
