DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

Data Integration & ETL Development: Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions for Javelina claims data using SQL, C#, and VB.NET.

Claims Processing & Data Transformation: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) healthcare claims data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Database Management: Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for claims data processing.

Application Development & Automation: Enhance and maintain integration processes and applications using C# and VB.NET.

System Integration: Work with internal teams to integrate claims data across various healthcare applications, APIs, and third-party systems.

Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve data discrepancies, performance bottlenecks, and system inefficiencies.

Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in data integration or software development, preferably in a TPA or health plan environment.

Strong experience working with Javelina claims data.

Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, indexing, optimization).

Hands-on development experience with C# and VB.NET.

Experience with ETL tools, APIs, and healthcare data standards (HIPAA, EDI 837/835, etc.).

Familiarity with claims processing, adjudication systems, and healthcare provider networks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL, or other reporting tools.

• Knowledge of FHIR, HL7, or other healthcare interoperability standards.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and modern data architectures.
