DevOps Engineer

Required Skills & Experience:

AWS Expertise:

Strong experience working with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.

Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or ECS .

Harness CI/CD:

Proven experience with Harness to manage CI/CD pipelines and improve software delivery workflows.

Strong understanding of the principles of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous testing.

Scripting & Automation:

Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or Shell) for automating manual tasks and processes.

Strong knowledge of version control tools, such as Git .

Monitoring & Logging:

Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like CloudWatch , Prometheus , Grafana , and log management solutions.

Ability to configure alerts, logs, and dashboards to ensure the health of the application and infrastructure.

Security Best Practices:

Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM roles and policies, encryption, network security, and secrets management.

Familiarity with security scanning tools and automated remediation processes.

Collaboration & Communication:

Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and handle multiple tasks and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer .

• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployments.

• Familiarity with Helm for Kubernetes package management.

• Knowledge of Jenkins , GitLab CI , or other CI/CD tools in addition to Harness.

• Experience with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.

• Familiarity with Ansible or Chef for configuration management.
