Must Haves:

Looking for a senior Devops engineer

Someone who has past experience working on large scale system (any other Bank or financial Domain) – How distributed system work, how to maintain across the servers

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience

Proficient in Linux and Unix

Strong Devops skills

Good experience in CI/CD pipelines

Knowledge with High availability and Disaster recovery

AWS is needed but not must have

Scripting and coding experience is a plus

The person who has worked as application as environment as whole

Someone who has worked on uplifting of the application.

Job Description:

Expert in Dev Ops Engineering and design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers) starting to be firm-wide resources working on projects across Client

Is multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset

May be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks

Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill

Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security

Stays abreast of cutting-edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business; may give speeches and outside the firm, writes articles

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.

5 plus years of software engineering experience across the full software development lifecycle.

Proficiency in Linux, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Node.js, SQL, and core algorithms.

Experience with large-scale, distributed applications in mission-critical environments.

Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging APIs (e.g., JMS).

Strong understanding of DevOps practices: CI/CD, automated testing (TDD), resiliency, and application security.

Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven track record of delivering results in collaborative, cross-functional teams.

Awareness of industry technology trends and best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jules and Jenkins; manage release processes and automation.

Automate application deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).

Lead and support release rollouts, including Level 3 production support and incident resolution.

Drive end-to-end testing, covering both functional and non-functional aspects (performance, security, reliability).

Develop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business flows and the technology stack supporting the Equities OMS.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to business partners, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.

Influence product design, application architecture, and operation
