About the role
Embedded Software Engineer
Location: On-site – Grand Rapids, MI (Relocation ok)
GC and USC
C/C++ programming, RTOS (Linux/QNX/VxWorks), device drivers, system architecture, embedded systems development (5+ years), verification & validation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, debugging, and experience in mission-critical industries (aerospace, automotive, defense).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and test embedded software in C/C++.
Work with RTOS (Linux, QNX, VxWorks, etc.) and device drivers.
Collaborate on system-level architecture and integration.
Conduct software verification, validation, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
Ensure security, robustness, and compliance with safety standards.
Requirements

5+ years in embedded systems development.

Experience in mission-critical sectors (aerospace, automotive, defense).

Strong in software architecture, system integration, and debugging.

Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related STEM field.
