Job Requirements for Legacy Mixed-Stack Developer (Classic ASP/ VB.NET/C# )
Required Skills
· Classic ASP - maintaining legacy .asp files with VBScript
· jQuery, Bootstrap 3, JavaScript/HTML/CSS
· VB.NET and C# (.NET Framework 4.5-4.6.2)
· SOAP, WCF legacy web services
· Oracle Database with ADO.NET
· Oracle PL/SQL: packages, procedures, functions
· Relational Data modeling / Schema design
· Legacy codebase expertise - must be comfortable independently troubleshooting and learning complex, non-standard codebases with custom frameworks, minimal documentation, and extensive technical debt
Key Tools
· Visual Studio 2019+
· Oracle SQL Developer (VSCode extension)
· Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC) and Git source control with Azure DevOps
· Telerik Web UI components and legacy web controls
· SonarQube - static code analysis
Nice to Have
· Oracle Analytics Cloud
· ASP.NET MVC 5 with Razor views
· Healthcare/pharmaceutical industry experience
