Current schedule: Alternate weeks onsite in Westlake, TX

From September 2026: 100% onsite, 5 days/week with no exceptions

Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST API development/support, Angular 14+, JavaScript, SPA development, Apache Camel, Agile methodologies, and experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot/DevAssist.

Job Summary

Fidelity is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with strong 50/50 frontend and backend experience to support its Digital Experiences Technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular, JavaScript, Apache Camel , and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot / DevAssist .

Required Skills

6+ years of software engineering experience

Strong experience with Java 8+ , Spring Boot , and REST API development

Hands-on experience with Angular 14+ , JavaScript , and SPA development

Experience supporting legacy apps and developing new applications

Experience with Apache Camel

Agile/Scrum experience

Experience using GitHub Copilot / DevAssist / AI-assisted coding tools

Nice to Have

Financial services or other high-transaction client-facing application experience

Jasmine / Karma

CI/CD deployment support

Docker / AWS

W3C / Web Accessibility standards

Responsibilities

• Develop and support full stack applications for Fidelity's digital platforms

• Build backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs

• Develop frontend applications using Angular and JavaScript

• Work on legacy modernization and new development efforts

• Collaborate with Agile teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners

• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and engineering efficiency
