About the role
iOS Engineer
Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Local candidates preferred)
Duration: Long Term Contract
6+ years iOS development, Swift/SwiftUI, XCUITest, MVVM, CI/CD (Jenkins/Azure DevOps), automated testing, App Store releases, REST APIs, and Agile/Scrum experience.
Key Requirements
5+ years of professional iOS development experience
Strong expertise in Swift and SwiftUI
Experience with XCUITest and automated testing
Hands-on experience building and supporting publicly available iOS applications
Strong development and testing background including:
Unit Testing
Integration Testing
UI Testing
Experience with MVVM architecture and clean coding practices
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Fastlane, Artifactory, or similar
Snapshot testing experience (Applitools preferred) is a plus
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Technical Skills
Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Cocoa Touch
Xcode, XCUITest
REST APIs
Git, Code Reviews, Pull Requests
CI/CD and DevOps practices
Mobile design patterns (MVVM, MVC, MVP, VIPER)
Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications

Build high-quality mobile experiences from concept through deployment

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

Participate in code reviews, testing, and release activities

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Ensure application quality through automated testing and CI/CD practices

Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices
Preferred Qualifications

Experience releasing applications to the Apple App Store

Knowledge of Fastlane, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Azure DevOps

Understanding of Microservices and API integrations

Strong knowledge of iOS architecture, performance optimization, and mobile best practices

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
