About the role
Title: IT Workflow Specialist – Sapiens eMerge / IBM BPM
Description:
Client is seeking a skilled IT professional to join our direct client's Workflow Technology Team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Sapiens eMerge , IBM BPM , and IBM BPEL , and will play a key role in maintaining and modernizing workflow systems across both legacy and current platforms.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to both ongoing support and modernization initiatives in a collaborative, enterprise-scale environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support and enhancements to existing workflow systems built on Sapiens eMerge and IBM BPEL .
Develop, configure, and maintain newer workflow processes using IBM BPM .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs and implement workflow solutions that align with operational goals.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the workflow systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Participate in system testing, documentation, and version control to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
Contribute to transition and integration efforts between legacy and modernized platforms.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience with Sapiens eMerge technology (especially in legacy workflow environments).
Solid understanding of IBM BPEL and its implementation within enterprise workflow solutions.
Proficiency in developing and supporting workflows using IBM BPM (Business Process Manager).
Ability to navigate and support hybrid environments with both legacy and modern workflow platforms.
Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of workflow applications.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in migrating or integrating legacy workflow systems into modern platforms.

Familiarity with additional middleware or enterprise integration tools is a plus.

Background in insurance, banking, or large enterprise environments is advantageous.
