Java AWS Engineer

Position 1
· Work with Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate to design
· Source code development
· Unit test case development
· Functional/system integration testing support and Deployment
· Integrate component design
· Support production as needed and meet development schedules
· Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree
· Minimum 8+ years of experience developing web-based applications
· Minimum 6+ years development experience in Java/J2EE technologies
o Must be strong with Spring Boot, Java lambda expressions, OOAD design patterns, writing REST api Micro-services and using AWS components: s3, ECS/EKS, Lambda, SQS/SNS
· Experience with multi-threading using core Java libraries such as the Executor framework.
· Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, MyBatis
· Experience using and implementing RESTful web services using Micro-services
· Experience with JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere.
· Experience with Java, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML.
· Knowledge of with AJAX techniques and modern JavaScript libraries like jQuery
· Knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON
· Strong understanding of SQL database design and stored procedures
· Familiarity with Web application security considerations
· Prior experience developing property & casualty (P&C) applications a plus
