Our client is a financial services company that provides clearing, settlement, custody, and risk management services for securities transactions.

Special Note

Core Java, Spring Boot, Oracle, Amazon Q (Amazon Q and Redis are a big nice to haves)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring scalability and performance for enterprise workloads

• Implement and optimize IBM MQ or similar messaging systems for reliable asynchronous communication between services

• Design and manage Redis for high-performance caching and secondary datastore needs

• Develop and optimize data pipelines and connectors for Snowflake, including Kafka-based integration patterns for MQ and Snowflake

• Apply best practices for fault tolerance, monitoring, and recovery in distributed environments

• Work closely with architecture and data teams to align with enterprise standards and security models

REQUIRED SKILLS

.

Strong proficiency in Java (including frameworks like Spring Boot)

• Hands-on experience with Redis for caching and APl integration

• Expertise in message queuing systems (IBM MQ or similar)

• Practical knowledge of Snowflake, including Snowpark UDFs in Java and data ingestion strategies

• Familiarity with Kafka connectors for MO and Snowflake integration

• Understanding of cloud environments and containerization (AWS, Kubernetes preferred)

• Real experience with of Oracle database

• Understanding of CDC and Q-rep processing
