About the role
Title: Java Software Engineer
Local to RI
This team oversees development and management of applications and databases that support pension plans on behalf of corporate clients, their employees and retirees.
The teams work in an agile fashion on Discretionary projects, Infrastructure and platform modernization projects including public cloud migration, application maintenance and production incident support.
In this role as a Senior Software Engineer, you will interact with architecture and management to translate product requirements to technology solutions.
You will be responsible for design and implementation of technical solutions to achieve business goals for the product offering.
Required :
1.) Java position : 6 to 9 years
2.) Strong knowledge on Restful services, spring boot
3.) Willing to do system analysis as required
4.) Working experience with CI/CD tools and process

The Skills You Bring
6+ years of experience in Java application development using Java, J2EE, Spring and JavaScript.
Excellent understanding of REST concepts and developing REST API's using Spring boot with Tomcat
Good experience in database tools and development using PL/SQL
Strong foundation in UI development using Angular, React, JavaScript
Experience in tools and methods to enable efficiency, performance and agility through automating DevOps processes (Maven, Jenkins, Stash)
Knowledge of public/private cloud capabilities including compute, storage, database
Experience in handling C++ applications is a plus.
