Role : Lead Java Developer

Location : Hybrid, once a month onsite in Columbia, MD or DC. Candidates MUST reside in the DMV area.

Duration : 12-month contract, with potential to convert after.

Candidate Status Requirement: USC/GC

Interview: First round MS Teams, second round in-person or in Columbia or DC

Summary : is looking for a Lead Java Developer to support the maintenance and enhancement of the FEP Bridge. The hired resource will work in an Agile Scrum environment within a 12-member team and support a 24/7 system, with seldom need for overtime.

8+ years of overall Java development experience

Healthcare payer industry experience

Experience querying using SQL for Oracle databases or integrating Oracle with applications.

Experience with any AWS services

Kubernetes containerization experience

Experience automating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins

Nice to have:

Experience with EDI 835/837

Java 21 development experience

Snowflake experience

CloudBees CI/CD pipelines automation experience

Angular development experience
