Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Web Engineer to enhance and expand an existing Ruby on Rails application while incorporating new features. This role involves both front-end and back-end development . The engineer will collaborate closely with customers, participate in weekly remote meetings to review requirements, and provide demos of completed work.

Key Responsibilities

Develop applications using Ruby and JavaScript within the Rails framework

Write and maintain automated tests

Present completed work to customers during scheduled meetings

Provide daily status updates to the team

Follow established change management workflows

Assist the help desk with debugging and resolving user issues

Maintain active presence on the internal messaging system during business hours
