Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer / Programmer II to support critical integration and file-processing initiatives. The consultant will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining mainframe applications supporting data entry, storage, hearing calendar imports, workflow automation, and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain COBOL and COBOL II applications.
Support ADABAS database field expansions and enhancements.
Program data entry and storage solutions for Cure and Warning summons workflows.
Develop processes to import hearing calendars from external agencies.
Support electronic building cure entry and user data update functionalities.
Integrate WebMethods with COBOL-based applications.
Create and maintain JCL jobs, procedures, and batch processing workflows.
Develop and support online MFS screens.
Troubleshoot and maintain FTP and server-to-mainframe connectivity processes.
Create technical documentation and assist in software testing and implementation.
Required Skills
4+ years of Mainframe Development experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working directly with business users, managers, and technical teams.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of experience in application development, programming, testing, implementation, and support within mainframe environments.

Experience with software conversions, data structures, databases, and technical documentation.

Ability to assist in design, development, and implementation of enterprise software solutions.

Additional Requirements
-
Must be available to work onsite Monday through Friday in New York City.

Must successfully complete fingerprinting, FBI and DCJS background checks.

Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

Three professional references from similar engagements are required.
