About the role
Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced OS Developer with a strong background in Python development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have six years of OS development experience , with a focus on cloud environments and the ability to deploy and manage applications across platforms like Red Hat, OpenStack, OpenShift, or AWS . Additionally, advanced knowledge in AI analytics is a bonus, as well as familiarity with telecom or analytics .
This role will involve collaborating closely with the design team, and you'll be instrumental in helping reduce the development backlog while supporting the transition of legacy wireline systems to the cloud. The work will primarily focus on deploying code in the cloud and network infrastructure .
Key Responsibilities:
Co-develop and maintain OS solutions with a focus on Python.
Collaborate with design and development teams to deliver cloud-based applications and solutions.
Help reduce the backlog of deployment and development tasks.
Work on the transition of legacy wireline systems to cloud environments.
Manage and deploy code on cloud platforms like AWS, OpenShift, or Red Hat.
Participate in coding challenges, design reviews, and daily stand-ups with the team.
Apply advanced analytics and AI techniques to enhance system performance and capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
6+ years of OS development experience , with strong Python programming skills.
Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS , Red Hat , OpenStack , or OpenShift .
Strong understanding of cloud computing , network deployment, and server infrastructure.
Advanced knowledge of AI analytics .
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, particularly design teams.
Telecom or analytics background is a plus.
able to attend the Westlake office 2 days per week .
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Skills:
Experience with telecom systems or data analytics.
Familiarity with legacy wireline systems and cloud migration .
Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced AI models.
Interview Process:
The interview will consist of an afternoon WebEx video interview .
Expect coding challenges during the interview to assess technical skills.
