Title: OutSystems Lead Developer

Location: Remote (Preference for California-based candidates due to FBI LiveScan background check)

Duration: 12–24 months

OutSystems platform expertise (web solutions, dashboards, reports, APIs), OutSystems certification, 7+ years EDP experience with 4+ years in lead role, IAM integration (Okta/Entra/Ping), WCAG compliance, C#/.NET, SQL, and strong documentation with U.S. work eligibility.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced OutSystems Lead Developer to join a critical project for the State of California. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in architecting and developing web solutions on the OutSystems platform, with proven experience in dashboards, web-service integrations, and identity management. This is a remote role, with preference for candidates currently located in California due to background check requirements.

Candidates must provide verified documentation, including degree, OutSystems certification, and references substantiating all relevant experience before resume submission. Visa holders must provide valid work authorization (no expired or pending visas).

Mandatory Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years in electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming.

At least 4 years in a lead capacity (or 11 years if substituting education for experience).

Education:

Bachelor's degree OR equivalent additional qualifying experience (year-for-year substitution).

Certifications:

OutSystems Professional Web Developer, Web Developer Specialist, Expert Reactive Web Developer, or equivalent.

OutSystems Platform Expertise:

5+ years architecting and configuring web solutions.

5+ years designing reports and dashboards.

5+ years architecting web-service API integrations.

Identity & Access Management:

3+ years integrating with third-party IAM systems (e.g., Okta, Entra ID, Ping Identity).

Accessibility Compliance:

3+ years configuring web solutions to comply with the latest WCAG standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and architecture of web applications on the OutSystems platform.

• Develop reports, dashboards, and APIs to support client requirements.

• Implement secure integrations with third-party identity and access management solutions.

• Ensure applications meet accessibility standards (WCAG).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

• Maintain documentation and provide references for all completed projects as required by the client.
