Python/AI/ML; CLT

Responsibilities

• Code solutions and implement automated unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements

• Design, develop, and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained

• Mentor other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack

• Execute story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle

• Perform proof of concept as necessary to implement new ideas or mitigate risk

• Automate manual release activities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

• Ensure solutions meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt

• Troubleshoot build and setup failures and facilitate resolution

• Ensure execution and delivery meets technology's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, performance, reliability, and timeline.

• Communicate status frequently to technology partners

Requirements

• Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices

• Ability to understand various / complex application architecture to support setting up Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD) and Continuous Testing

• Hands-on DevOps experience for following functions (tools): Version Control (GIT/Bitbucket), Build Orchestration (Jenkins), Code Quality (SonarQube and Unit Testing frameworks), Artifact Management (Artifactory) and Deployment (Ansible)

• Hands-on experience in application development in one or more areas including Python, MongoDB, Redis, React Framework, Impala, Spark, Autosys, Shell scripting, Rest services, Containerization

• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux platform, including LDAP-based authentication integration and clustering

• Strong understanding of software architecture principles

• Experience with enterprise integration patterns

• Able to communicate effectively, clearly articulating technical issues, problem incident resolution, readiness status and reporting

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of audience (business stakeholders, developer support teams)

• Detail oriented highly organized

• Experience with Database Build Deployment using Datical and Release Orchestration

• Experience with developing frameworks and tools specific to AI/ML applications

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and development in cloud environments
