This is a summer job for a college student going into their Junior or Senior year in College with strong experience with Python and Linux. Also they must be in Tuscon, AZ to work onsite 3 days a week. I don't expect I will get 80 candidates on this job. If you can help, much appreciated and I will work quickly to call them.

What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Software Developer with foundational skills in Python and a working knowledge of the Linux environment. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and maintaining software tools, automating tasks, and managing storage-related issues on Linux-based systems. You will work closely with senior developers and system administrators to support operational efficiency and application development. This position is open to students on summer break.

Key Responsibilities:

Write and maintain Python scripts to automate routine tasks and support internal tools.

Monitor and troubleshoot storage usage and disk space issues on Linux systems.

Assist in code reviews, testing, and debugging software applications.

Collaborate with team members to develop efficient, scalable solutions.

Deployment of software to robotics systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in Python programming.

Basic understanding of Linux command-line tools and file system management, including bash scripting.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Desired Skills & Experience:

Interest in robotics systems would be beneficial given the responsibility of deploying software to such systems
