Summary:

This is a Salesforce Platform Development role. The hiring manager is seeking candidates whose primary day-to-day responsibilities are custom development within the Salesforce platform. Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on Salesforce add-ons (CPQ, Marketing Cloud, Vlocity, OmniStudio, MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.) will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions utilizing Salesforce development best practices.

• Develop and maintain Apex code including triggers, batch jobs, queueable jobs, and scheduled processes.

• Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support modern user experiences.

• Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and related technologies.

• Develop automated business processes utilizing Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, and Formula Fields.

• Manage source control, deployments, and release processes using Salesforce DX (SFDX), VS Code, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Implement and maintain Salesforce security best practices, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, and Organization-Wide Defaults (OWD).

• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, troubleshooting, and production support activities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Platform Development experience (in the US)

• Must have recent hands-on Salesforce Platform Development experience where the majority of development is within Salesforce (Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, etc.). Candidates whose primary expertise is Salesforce add-on products or middleware will not be considered.

• Prior experience supporting a State/Government project highly preferred

• Strong expertise with:

• Apex Development (Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex)

• Lightning Web Components (LWC)

• SOQL/SOSL

• Salesforce DX (SFDX)

• REST and SOAP API integrations

• Platform Events

• Named Credentials

• Salesforce Security Model (Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, OWD)

• Salesforce Flows and Process Automation

• Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and platform architecture.
