Salesforce Developer (AI) Location: Hybrid – Washington DC Metro Area (1–2x onsite per week, Columbia, MD / DMV area) local to any of these location works Contract Type: Long-term contract

6+ years Salesforce development experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex (Triggers & Classes), Flow, Visualforce, SOQL, and 2+ years on AI-related Salesforce projects (Agentforce 360/DX/Vibes a plus),

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Application Developer with AI expertise to design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications supporting healthcare claims data processing systems. The role is responsible for full lifecycle development—from requirements analysis to implementation—ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Development (50%) : Develop and enhance Salesforce applications for FEP users, including integration with other systems. Code, review, deploy, and maintain applications. Troubleshoot day-to-day issues and publish technical documentation.

System Design & Requirements Analysis (20%) : Understand business requirements and existing systems to implement effective solutions. Stay updated with Salesforce releases to optimize applications for performance and functionality.

Testing & Technical Support (20%) : Develop unit tests, support automated testing, debug and resolve issues across environments. Ensure application quality and stability.

Collaboration & Business Impact (10%) : Partner with developers, testers, business analysts, and product managers to deliver applications aligned with business needs on time.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

6+ years of experience building, deploying, and supporting Salesforce applications and platform solutions.

Strong knowledge of Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Flow, Visualforce, SOQL .

2+ years experience on AI-related Salesforce projects. Knowledge of Agentforce 360, Agentforce DX, or Agentforce Vibes is a plus.

Proven ability to work in a hybrid, collaborative environment with weekly onsite presence.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and technical documentation skills.

Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset.

Mandatory Requirements:

Must reside in the Washington DC Metro area (Maryland or Virginia) to support weekly onsite visits.
