Health Cloud + pharmacy workflow experience

We're seeking a Salesforce Health Cloud Technical Architect with strong knowledge in pharmacy operations to help shape and deliver innovative healthcare solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll define architecture, lead integrations, and guide development teams building robust, scalable systems that improve the pharmacy patient journey.
What You'll Do

Lead technical design and architecture of Salesforce Health Cloud solutions, focused on pharmacy use cases such as:

Prescription intake, fulfillment, and tracking

Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
-
Patient adherence and support programs
-
Prior authorization workflows and specialty pharmacy journeys
-
Translate business needs into scalable and secure Salesforce Health Cloud solutions
-
Provide technical leadership to developers and partners; enforce standards and conduct code reviews
-
Design and oversee integrations with external platforms (e.g., EHRs, PBMs, pharmacy management systems) using Salesforce APIs , MuleSoft , and other middleware
-
Ensure architecture is optimized for performance, scalability, and data privacy
-
Maintain documentation including architecture diagrams, integration specs, and data models
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders
-
Stay current with Salesforce and healthcare tech trends to recommend innovations
-
What You Bring:
-
5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect , including 3+ years with Health Cloud
-
Strong understanding of Salesforce Health Cloud data models , Care Plans, Provider Network, and configuration best practices
-
Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL , and declarative Salesforce tools
-
Experience with API integrations , ETL processes, or MuleSoft
-
Familiarity with pharmacy-related systems or workflows (e.g., PBMs, EHRs, medication tracking)

Strong grasp of Salesforce security, performance, and data management best practices
-
Excellent communication and documentation skills

Salesforce certifications strongly preferred:

Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect

Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional

Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7)

Background integrating with major EHR systems

Previous work in an Agile/Scrum environment
