SAP BTP Lead with strong experience in S/4HANA, Integration Suite (CI/API/Event Mesh), CAP, custom app development, SAPUI5/Fiori, BTP ABAP, full-stack (Node.js/Java/Python), integrations, and proven leadership delivering large-scale projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience leading BTP platform development

• 4+ years of experience in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)

• 4+ years of experience in SAP Fiori / SAPUI5

• 4+ years of experience with using SAP Build Code for full-stack BTP application development

• 4+ years of experience implementing integrations with SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh):

• 4+ years of experience with Node.js/Java/Python, SAPUI5 / Fiori Elements, and HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ReactJS

• 2+ years of experience with Identity & Access Management

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying custom applications using various programming languages and frameworks (e.g., BTP, Java, Python, .NET, JavaScript frameworks).

• Deep understanding of integration patterns, technologies, and best practices (e.g., RESTful APIs, SOAP, message queues, ETL, API gateways).

• Strong understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong leadership, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies

• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with security best practices in application development and integration.

• Plusses

• Master's degree preferred

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and cloud-based integration services is a plus.

• Day to Day

This role leads the day-to-day activities of a team of custom application developers and integration specialists, setting priorities, assigning work, and mentoring team members to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery. The hire oversees the full application lifecycle—from design and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support—while collaborating closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions. They manage code repositories, deployment processes, and adherence to coding standards and best practices. The position also owns the integration strategy, designing and implementing connections between enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, data warehouses, and third-party APIs) while ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. Additionally, the role provides technical leadership in architectural decisions, troubleshoots issues, supports recruitment and onboarding, and communicates project status, timelines, and estimates to stakeholders.
