About the role
SCADA Programmer Analyst
Location: Ardmore, OK (Onsite) Type: Contract Duration: 12+ Months (High potential for extension)
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain SCADA systems and associated HMI/PLC interfaces
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot SCADA network and control system issues
Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams for system enhancements
Ensure SCADA systems meet regulatory, safety, and cybersecurity requirements
Perform regular system updates and backups
Document configurations, changes, and system processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with SCADA systems in utility, energy, or industrial environments
Hands-on experience with PLC programming and HMI development
Strong knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC, etc.)
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages used in SCADA environments
Ability to work onsite in Ardmore, OK
Nice to Have:
Experience with SCADA software such as Wonderware, Ignition, GE iFIX, or similar
Knowledge of networking, cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems
Prior experience working with energy, oil & gas, or utilities sector
