Familiarity with robotics and autonomy fundamentals
Big plus if candidate has vehicle-level experience
Ability to evaluate tradeoffs objectively
Define pros/cons without bias
Experience with SW/HW development process
Understand how products move through lifecycle
Additional:
Experience working with requirements
Evaluating solutions against requirements
Understanding benefit/tradeoffs
Documenting decisions
Troubleshooting skills
Exposure to working across systems
Technical Environment
C++ and Python → plus (not required to code daily, but must be familiar)
Robotics programming exposure preferred
Operating Systems:
Linux
Custom OS / RTOS environment
