Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Developer with deep expertise in the INTEX platform , PostgreSQL , and enterprise application architecture. The ideal candidate will lead the refactoring of the ARDA application to utilize a dedicated PSI PostgreSQL database instance, replacing the existing shared database architecture to improve scalability, performance, maintainability, and operational efficiency.

This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can modernize the current implementation, optimize integrations, produce high-quality technical documentation, and collaborate closely with architecture leadership and the CTO on future-state design.

Key Responsibilities

Refactor the ARDA application to use a dedicated PSI PostgreSQL database instance.

Eliminate dependencies on the current shared PSI database architecture to improve stability and performance.

Analyze, redesign, and optimize the existing INTEX platform architecture.

Lead architecture reviews, documenting current-state data flows, integrations, dependencies, and technical debt.

Design and implement scalable INTEX integrations with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, market data providers, and analytics platforms.

Optimize automation, streamline data ingestion, reduce manual processes, and improve platform reliability.

Create and maintain comprehensive technical and application-level documentation.

Review database integration, architecture, and documentation with the CTO.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to define the future-state INTEX roadmap.

Ensure effective knowledge transfer and contribute to long-term modernization initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of software development experience with strong backend architecture expertise.

Hands-on experience with the INTEX platform , including:

Structured Finance Analytics

Deal Modeling

Cash Flow Analysis

Enterprise Application Integration

Strong expertise in PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and migration.

Experience designing API-based integrations, ETL processes, messaging systems, and database synchronization.

Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and integration patterns.

Experience producing technical architecture documentation and application design documents.

Ability to assess existing systems and recommend scalable, maintainable architectural improvements.

Excellent communication skills with experience presenting technical solutions to senior leadership.

Preferred Experience

Strong knowledge of structured finance products, including:

ABS

RMBS

CMBS

CLO

CDO

MBS

Experience supporting pricing, analytics, reporting, and risk management platforms.

Experience collaborating directly with executive leadership, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Background in financial services, capital markets, or structured finance environments.
