Senior Progress Programmer

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing SX.e (SxEnterprise) customizations and enhancements

• Design and re-engineer custom functionality to align with CloudSuite Distribution (CSD) architecture and cloud constraints

• Develop and modify solutions using Progress OpenEdge / ABL

• Assess legacy code to determine refactor, redesign, or retirement strategies

• Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Support design, development, testing, and implementation phases of the migration

• Perform unit testing and support system and user acceptance testing (UAT)

• Ensure compliance with Infor CloudSuite best practices and standards

• Document technical designs and provide knowledge transfer as required

• Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Progress (OpenEdge / ABL) development experience

• Experience working with Infor SxEnterprise (SX.e) and/or Infor CloudSuite Distribution (CSD)

• Strong background in distribution ERP environments (order management, inventory, pricing, fulfillment, etc.)

• Experience reviewing and refactoring custom ERP code

• Ability to work independently on complex technical challenges

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with SX.e to CloudSuite Distribution migrations or upgrades

• Familiarity with Infor cloud customization patterns, APIs, or integration frameworks

• Experience modernizing legacy ERP customizations for cloud platforms

• Prior involvement in ERP implementation or post-go-live stabilization efforts
