in need of a Senior ServiceNow Developer for a long-term contract opportunity for one of our direct clients in the Raleigh, NC area.

*Pay: $80/hr on C2C

*This position is hybrid.

*Some local travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The responsibilities of this role will include the following:

• Architect scalable and maintainable solutions within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, modules, workflows, and integrations, to meet business requirements.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and support teams, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow configurations, workflows, integrations, and performance.

• Required Skills:

• 6 Years - Proven work experience with ServiceNow development and/or administration

• 5 Years - Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer or ServiceNow Workflow Editor using functionality such as Scheduled Script Executions (Scheduled Jobs)

• 5 Years - Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer or ServiceNow Workflow Editor such as notifications and reporting

• 5 Years - Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) or Customer Service Management (CSM)

• 5 Years - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or application developer (CAD)

• 3 Years - Extensive knowledge of JavaScript and other web development tools and techniques like HTML, CSS, XML, SQL, and AJAX for building user interfaces.

• 3 Years - Experience building and maintaining integrations between ServiceNow and other systems leveraging REST, SOAP, and other APIs

• 5 Years - Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency; independently identify options.

• 5 Years - Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.

• Desired Skills:

• 3 Years - Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and best practices is beneficial

• 3 Years - Familiarity with ServiceNow's Glide scripts

• 4 Years - Experience designing and/or developing dashboards using Power BI

• 3 Years - Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) development

• 2 Years - Knowledgeable in DevOps practices and Shift Left testing
