Senior Tableau consultant

8+ years of experience in Tableau development, ETL design, data modeling, enterprise data architecture, and stakeholder-facing project delivery.

We are seeking a Senior Tableau consultant for a contract position worked remotely within the state of Texas.

You must currently reside in Texas to be considered .

This senior-level role involves advanced architectural work with a strong focus on ETL design, data modeling, and delivering data-driven insights through Tableau. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can independently lead complex technical solutions and bridge the gap between business objectives and technology execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement robust ETL processes and data handling frameworks to support large-scale data visualizations.

Translate complex business requirements into detailed system, application, and process designs.

Develop, test, and implement Tableau dashboards and visualizations that deliver actionable insights to end-users.

Serve as a subject matter expert on Tableau and enterprise data architecture, providing guidance and best practices to internal and external stakeholders.

Analyze service requirements and design tailored service solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, tools, and technologies to craft innovative and efficient architectural solutions.

Lead project management efforts, including gathering requirements, managing stakeholders, and executing project plans.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Tableau dashboard development and advanced visualizations.

• 8+ years of experience in project management, including stakeholder engagement and project execution.

• 8+ years of experience managing enterprise architecture with a strong focus on data solutions and infrastructure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Preferred Skills:

• Experience with public sector data initiatives or regulated industries.

• Strong understanding of data governance and compliance requirements.

• Familiarity with additional BI tools or programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
