Software Developer III

Responsibilities

• •Perform software development for legacy modernization projects using Natural, ADABAS, Oracle, and associated tools.

• •Translate user stories and business requirements into technical specifications and data migration scripts.

• •Develop new Oracle 19c table structures and scripts to move data from legacy environments.

• •Support, patch, and upgrade legacy systems including Natural, ADABAS, and CONNX.

• •Create database views to support Tableau dashboards and reporting.

• •Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and maintain documentation throughout the SDLC.

• •Collaborate effectively using Microsoft Teams and other communication platforms.

• •Present technical concepts and outcomes to business stakeholders and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• •4+ years writing end-user documentation.

• •Experience with:

• oNearStar print management

• oEntireX by SoftwareAG

• oJava application environments

• Required Skills

• Required Skills:

• •8+ years of software development experience, including both enhancement and ground-up projects.

• •8+ years coding experience in:

• o Natural 8.3

• oADABAS 6.5

• oOracle 12c/19c

• oSQL

• oAttachmate EXTRA!

• oUnix AIX 7.2

• oCronus Espbatch Job Scheduler

• oSCL (JCL equivalent)

• oSVN or other version control systems

• • 8+ years supporting and upgrading legacy systems (Natural, ADABAS, CONNX).

• •8+ years translating user requirements into technical deliverables.

• •8+ years in full-cycle software development with a focus on documentation and testing.

• •3+ years experience working on Agile Scrum teams.

• •3+ years using Microsoft Teams or equivalent collaboration tools.
