Healthcare (Claims/Enrollment) Solution Architecture with Java, Spring Boot, APIs/Microservices, Angular, DB2, AWS, and Agile/SAFe experience.

Overview

We are seeking experienced Solution Architects to serve as a key bridge between Enterprise Architecture and Application teams. This role focuses on translating business needs into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps.

The ideal candidate brings strong healthcare domain expertise (Claims or Enrollment) along with hands-on experience in modern application architecture and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture design for enterprise applications and platforms

• Translate business requirements into scalable and secure architectural solutions

• Develop current, target, and transitional architecture models and roadmaps

• Identify pain points and opportunities to optimize enterprise systems

• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, architecture principles, and reference models

• Design and implement reusable architecture patterns and solution frameworks

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and product owners in Agile/SAFe environments

• Drive architecture governance, participate in architecture review boards, and conduct peer reviews

• Lead vendor evaluations, RFP processes, and solution selection

• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and performance requirements

• Mentor and guide engineers and junior architects

• Support enterprise roadmap planning, project estimation, and solution delivery

• Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect

• Strong experience in Healthcare domain (Claims or Enrollment)

• Expertise in:

• Java, Spring Boot

• API / Web Services, Microservices

• Angular / UI Technologies

• DB2 or similar databases

• AWS Cloud

• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments

• Proven ability to translate business strategies into technical solutions

• Strong experience in architecture documentation and design governance

• Ability to manage cross-domain architecture and complex solution landscapes

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

• Nice to Have

• Experience with Mainframe technologies

• Exposure to AI / ML concepts

• Education

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
