Title: Solution Architect – Microsoft Dynamics 365

The Solution Architect – Microsoft Dynamics 365 is responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end D365 solutions that align with business goals and technology strategies. This role involves leading architecture discussions, defining solution roadmaps, ensuring platform best practices, and working closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the solution architecture and design of Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations (F&O / CE / SCM / CRM, depending on focus).

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and system designs .

Define and document solution architectures, integrations, and data flows , ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.

Oversee the end-to-end D365 implementation lifecycle , including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and functional teams.

Ensure solutions adhere to Microsoft best practices , security standards, and performance benchmarks.

Evaluate and recommend third-party applications , ISVs, and integration tools to enhance D365 capabilities.

Lead and conduct solution workshops, proof-of-concepts (POCs) , and architecture reviews.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., Azure, Power Platform, legacy apps).

Stay current with D365 roadmap updates , emerging technologies, and industry trends to provide strategic recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).

8+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, including at least 3+ years in a Solution Architect role .

Proven experience in end-to-end D365 implementations , including solution design, configuration, and deployment.

Strong understanding of D365 modules such as Finance & Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Customer Engagement.

Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Azure services.

Proficiency in integration frameworks , data migration strategies, and API-based integrations.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., MB-700: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert ) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in global/multi-entity D365 deployments .

• Familiarity with Agile / DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).

• Knowledge of complementary Microsoft technologies (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power Virtual Agents).

• Ability to mentor junior architects and consultants.
