Position Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Golang Developer with a proven track record in architecting and deploying robust, cloud-native solutions on AWS. In this onsite role, youll collaborate closely with a Technical Architect and take the lead in guiding an offshore engineering team. The right candidate brings advanced knowledge of Golang microservices, MongoDB, Kubernetes, observability tools (OpenTelemetry and Datadog), and modern CI/CD practices.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and architect Golang-based microservices using Gorilla Mux and gRPC frameworks

• Manage large-scale data operations with MongoDB, focusing on indexing and schema optimization

• Take ownership of the entire application lifecycle on AWS, including API Gateway, Lambda, EKS, EC2, and S3

• Develop and maintain containerized environments with Docker and Helm

• Implement comprehensive observability with OpenTelemetry, exporting metrics and logs to Datadog

• Lead and enhance CI/CD workflows using GitLab and GitHub Actions

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis

• Mentor offshore developers, fostering quality and best practices throughout the team

Required Qualifications:

• 10-15+ years in backend software development, with at least 7 years in Golang

• Extensive experience with MongoDB, including NoSQL data modeling and performance tuning

• Strong background in AWS deployments and architecture

• Proficient with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm for container orchestration

• Expertise in CI/CD automation (GitLab, GitHub Actions)

• Advanced Linux scripting and debugging skills

• Hands-on experience with TDD and SonarQube to ensure code quality

• Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional teamwork abilities

• Knowledge of EV telematics and integrating with Stripe or Zuora

• Experience with payment systems such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or cryptocurrency payment solutions

• Frontend development skills with Vue.js or React.js
