Technical Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements from different downstream and translate them into detailed technical specifications for development teams.

• Serve as the functional and technical SME for Commercial Lending.

• Data Modeling & Mapping: Leverage deep knowledge of the Loan IQ Data Model to map source-to-target data requirements.

• Database Querying & Analysis: Write and execute complex SQL queries against the Loan IQ database.

• System Integration: Collaborate with software engineers and data architects to design event-driven data flows.

• Testing & Validation: Develop comprehensive functional and technical test cases, coordinate SIT and UAT.

• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date functional and technical design documents, data dictionaries, and system process flows.

• Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Systems Analyst within the banking, financial services, or commercial lending domain.

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on technical experience with Finastra Fusion Loan IQ.

• Proven experience navigating and querying the Loan IQ underlying relational database.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.

• Strong foundational knowledge of corporate lending, syndicated loans, agency functions, and bilateral loans.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from top 50 universities.

• Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake).
