Job Title: Tech Lead - Application Development

Company: Company Confidential

Location: 100% remote - EST based/EST hours required.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 1-year initial expectation + extensions

Must haves:

10+ years of overall development experience

3+ years of hands-on Tech Lead experience in complex large domains (healthcare, fintech)

Strong background in both front-end and back-end application development

Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS)

Hands-on experience with microservices architecture

Proven experience building and managing a service catalog

Strong understanding and use of modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)

Experience developing lightweight, composable web apps (thin clients)

Ability to manage and influence key technical decisions

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Experience working with AI tools in the development lifecycle

Proven history of deploying AI-assisted solutions to production

Background in Medicare or healthcare platforms

Familiarity with AWS ecosystem and cloud DevOps best practices

Day-to-day:

Serve as the technical lead across front-end and back-end development efforts

Collaborate closely with external vendors during Proof of Technology and POC phases

Design and guide the implementation of cloud-native, microservices-based architectures

Evaluate and implement front-end technologies to support modern thin client applications

Work with product and business stakeholders to align technology decisions with project goals

Provide technical direction to developers, mentor junior engineers

Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance best practices

Contribute to future-state planning if the full project is greenlit
