Data Storage Engineer/SME Contract Delhi/Hyderabad/Bangalore Responsible for day-to-day management, optimization, and reliability of enterprise storage platforms across Customers data centers and hybrid environment Ownership of enterprise storage strategy, architecture, and optimization, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and cost efficiency for Customers global infrastructure. The Storage engineer is responsible for designing, maintaining and administrating production and development data storage and backup systems in a 24/7 data center. This position is part of the Infrastructure Datacenter Operations team which supports the global production and manufacturing servers. Experienced in developing integrated technical solutions in a multi-vendor environment to meet customers technology and business requirements. Experienced in designing, installing, configuring and maintaining multi-vendor System & Storage Products as SAN or NAS solutions. Experienced in handling break-fix for Systems and Storage products. Experienced in storage provisioning in SAN [Block] environment over Fiber Channel & iSCSI, creating Volumes & LUNs over Storage pools or RAID Arrays. Experienced in implementing Thin Provisioning, Deduplication, Compression and Storage Tiering for efficient and optimal performance.
