About the role
As an Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS) Consultant, your role will involve leading the implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle WMS solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient warehouse management solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements related to warehouse and inventory operations. - Configuring Oracle WMS modules to meet business needs and industry best practices. - Designing and executing system solutions for various warehouse processes such as inbound, outbound, inventory, receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting, and replenishment. - Collaborating with different teams throughout the project lifecycle, conducting fit-gap analysis, and providing recommendations for process improvements. - Supporting integrations between Oracle WMS and other Oracle SCM, ERP, transportation, and third-party systems. - Developing functional specifications, supporting technical teams during development activities, creating and executing test scripts, and providing post-go-live support. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience working with Oracle Warehouse Management solutions. - Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud WMS and/or Oracle E-Business Suite WMS. - Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, and supply chain processes. - Experience with gathering business requirements, translating them into system solutions, testing, data migration, and production support activities. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
