Roles: Media Player: Technical Specialist/Senior Developer/Integrator Education: Engineering - BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MS Discipline Computer Science Electronics & Communication Electronics & Computer Electrical & Electronics Experience: 12+/5+ years Core Skills: Strong programming skills in C/C++/Java/Python Knowledge on programming languages such as React Native Kotlin C# Solid technical depth in Media player feature from different sources and Media framework Good knowledge on Media functionality internals like different encoder data buffering/caching mechanism data streaming Gstreamer plugin Media Engine usage Software design and implementation experience in an object-oriented environment Knowledge on Automotive SOCs and Microcontrollers Experience with operating systems like Linux Android QNX Integrity and other RTOSs Experience with communication network protocols like https A2B IPC Experience with communication interfaces like Ethernet UART SPI USB Experience with SCM tools such as: Git Gerrit Jenkins JIRA RTC Experience with debugging using relevant tools such as GDB JTAG-Debugger BDI Lauterbach ADB logs Experience with performance profiling tools Knowledge on AUTOSAR/GENIVI/OSEK architectures Knowledge on Functional Safety and SPICE processes Knowledge on software quality standards and Test Driven Development Proven ability working in Agile Scrum environment Good team player with great communication skills Strong problem solving skills and motivation to work in a dynamic fast paced multitasking environment Specialization: Deep knowledge of data communication interfaces with external ECU and cloud Knowledge on 3 rd party SW and external application integration in multi-party supplier eco-system Experience on testing/developing multiple Media player systems (Onboard/online amazon youtube spotify/USB/CD/IPOD/HDMI) in CAR Knowledge of features strengths and weaknesses of various media feature approaches Experience with maintaining code over the lifecycle of audio products and the pipeline of future products Engagement in designing end to end Media player components and system architecture Implementation experience in command & control interfaces audio streaming path integrating with audio subsystem on Linux OS (Alsa channel MUX configuration etc) Experience with managing suppliers and algorithm vendors (Technical and Product Management skills)
