Job Description:

Execute test cases, creating test data, and reporting results in a timely, clear, and concise manner. Should have understanding of the functionality of the project/product. Should have the ability to stay connected with changing requirements and documentation. Able to actively look for gaps in test cases and look beyond test cases for issues/bugs. Should be agile and be responsive to changing priorities in projects and be quick at changing course of testing. Should have the ability to dive deep and do a root cause analysis of bugs/issues.

Roles and Responsibilities:

You perform predefined test cases without compromising on the quality they test for. Raise defects for all failures observed and track doubts related to the execution of test instructions through pre-defined mechanisms. Track daily execution status using recommended tools and techniques, and provide individual status reports. Actively participate in internal cross-training sessions and trainings required by the product team(s) and in your organization. Report and track issues as per the SLAs and defined guidelines. You are responsible for the security and maintenance of the company assets, accessories and devices allocated to you to perform your daily operations. You use standard tools for effort and data capture and abide by the regulatory processes defined for ensuring process compliance, confidentiality, and security. You contribute to process improvement ideas wherever applicable in your project scope.

Basic Qualifications:

Education Qualification: BE, BTech, Master of computer Applications (MCA), Bsc Computers, BCA, MSc Information Technology (IT).

Work Experience:

An engineering/tech/science graduate with 0-1.6 years of experience in testing

Must have attention to detail and a "can-do" attitude.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English language

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent at multi-tasking and should be able to work well under pressure.

• Ability to work in a team in a dynamic environment.

• Proven ability to clearly communicate with managers and associates at all levels.

• Additional Information:

• Presently day shift. But should be flexible to work in rotational shifts if required

• Domestic Relocation Provided: No

• Shifts:

• Day Shift = 8AM to 5PM

• Based on project need you are expected to work in early or late shift in a day. i.e. 6AM to 3PM / 12PM to 9PM respectively.

• Weekly Off:

• Weekends off (Saturday and Sunday)

• If project demands, based on your manager approval, you are expected to work over the weekend when needed.
