We own end to end testing of the application and dynamically provide even more value and innovations to our readers.

Job Description:

The Amazon Books team is looking for high-energy, detail-oriented, and technically-savvy Quality Service Associate to perform software test execution. You will support execution of tests across platforms, perform daily quality checks as per established guidelines and report deviations accurately, understand and ramp up on testing procedures, guidelines & policies and apply the same in day-to-day work to ensure it meets Amazon's high quality bar.

Roles and Responsibilities:

This includes, but is not limited to:

Executes test cases, small, simple/mid-sized components and/or features related to apps, services, or devices to ensure they are operating as designed without compromising on quality and timelines.

Reviews new test & work instructions. Shares knowledge & best practices. Contributes to project improvement ideas and make routine tasks easier.

Meets daily productivity & quality targets. Is able to execute repetitive tasks on a daily basis with highest standard of quality w.r.t deliverables.

Logs bugs/failures related to the execution of test instructions and/or quality mechanisms.

Ability to deep dive on applications & comparing features between various versions & identifying changes made within versions.

Tracks resolution per service level agreements (SLAs).

Ability to use software tools for validation, analysis and data capture on a daily basis.

Comfortable with capturing results, communicating and escalating failures and providing individual status reports.

Basic Qualifications:

B.E, B.Tech. MSC IT or MCA.

Fresher or up to 2 years of experience in software testing field.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Good Analytical and deep diving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good familiarity with the Windows environment and use of Word, Excel, IE, Firefox etc. are required.

• Flexibility and interest in doing repetitive tasks is required.

• Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills, Attention to details and ability to root cause important issues impacting process or customers.

• Good to Have: Basic programming and Automation Skills in tools like Selenium, Python, and SQL etc.

• Shifts: 5 Day Work week [Monday - Friday] with Day shift.

• Weekly Off: Weekends [Saturday and Sunday].
