The Alexa Communications DA team is a team of enthusiast testers who believe in delivering bug free products to our customers. We are last line of defense before the features are sent to real world customers and the testing we do has a significant impact on the product development.
Job Description:
A Testing Associate's primary responsibility is to execute test case instructions and report discrepancies. A TA is also responsible for successful and on time delivery of results. Apart from this you would be expected to learn how to flash builds and have an inclination towards automation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This includes, but is not limited to:
Perform regression and repetitive testing exercises to qualify builds without compromising on quality
Execute test cases prepared for testing Software builds on the Alexa Devices and Mobile App.
Perform test case execution and report bugs accurately.
Understand testing procedures and guidelines for new builds / releases.
Use software tools for data capture on a daily basis
Be comfortable with capturing results, communicating and escalating failures and providing individual status reports
Raising all failures/doubts related to the execution of test cases in the clarification portal and closing the same as per the SLA's
Basic Qualifications
Education Qualification: B.E. IT, ECE & EEE, B.Tech, B.Sc.
Work Experience: Nil
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English language
Preferred Qualification:
Education Qualification: M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc.
Work Experience: Previous experience in manual and functional testing will be a plus point
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
Proven ability to work productively and efficiently in an independent setting
Proven ability to clearly communicate with managers and associates at all levels
Excellent attention to detail and work with the highest level of accuracy
Additional Information:
Domestic Relocation Provided: NO
Shifts: Either of the 3 - 8 to 5, 9 to 6 or 10 to 7.
Weekly Off: Saturday and Sunday
