About the role
As a Network Operations Engineer (Day 2 Support), your role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing various aspects of the network such as routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, wireless, WAF, DNS, and load balancers. Additionally, you will handle incident response, change management, and provide operational support. Your tasks will also include supporting network automation using Python and Ansible, along with maintaining documentation and collaborating with security, cloud, and application teams. Your key responsibilities include: - Monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure - Managing routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, wireless, WAF, DNS, and load balancers - Handling incident response, change management, and operational support - Supporting network automation using Python and Ansible - Maintaining documentation and collaborating with security, cloud, and application teams The qualifications required for this position are: - 510 years of experience in enterprise network operations - Strong troubleshooting and automation experience - Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred) - Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP The preferred qualifications and skills include: - Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE, Aruba, F5 - Experience in financial or regulated environments - Cloud networking exposure (AWS/Azure) If you are an immediate joiner with the necessary skills and experience in enterprise network operations, this remote position may be a great fit for you.
