Role: OMS Sterling | L1/L2 support role Experience: 4 to 9 years Location: Bangalore, Noida, Gurgaon, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad - Hybrid 3 days in a Week WFO Immediate Joiners Only Excellent Communication Skills Note: Candidates must be able to attend an in-person discussion at any of our client locations. JD: The role focuses on production support, system reliability, observability, automation, and peak event readiness across complex, distributed platforms including OMS, Java-based applications. The candidate will work closely with business, engineering, infrastructure, and external partners to ensure high availability, performance, and operational excellence, especially during high-traffic sale events. Technology Stack Application & Programming Java, Spring Boot IBM Sterling OMS Python, Shell Scripting Databases DB2, MySQL NoSQL: Fire store, Big Query Monitoring & Observability Splunk Dynatrace SolarWinds Grafana Infrastructure Windows Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Key Responsibilities (Support Role) Production Support & Reliability Resolve production incidents within defined SLAs, ensuring minimal business impact. Provide L2/L3 support for OMS and integrated systems. Support BAU operations and major sale events with proactive monitoring and rapid issue resolution. Observability & Monitoring Design, create, and continuously improve alerts and dashboards for end-to-end system visibility. Analyse logs, metrics, and traces to identify root causes and prevent recurring issues. Automation & Utilities Automate manual operational tasks to reduce toil and speed up incident resolution. Build utilities and scripts to support BAU needs, such as: Order creation using curl/JMeter scripts Order status and fulfilment updates Transaction log (TLOG) validation End-to-end system and data validation System Optimization Perform infrastructure and application-level optimizations to improve performance, stability, and scalability. Required Capabilities & Skills Technical Skills Strong debugging skills across Java, Spring Boot, IBM Sterling OMS, and integrated external systems (e.g., Yantriks, Listrik, payment gateways). Hands-on experience with SQL (DB2, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Fire store, Big Query). Proficiency in Java, Python, and shell scripting for utilities and automation. Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, Grafana). Analytical & Problem-Solving Strong analytical skills to identify root causes across distributed systems and multiple environments. Ability to troubleshoot complex, end-to-end business and technical issues. Domain Knowledge Good understanding of Retail domain, especially supply chain, order management, and fulfilment workflows. Mindset & Collaboration Strong learning mindset to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.
