Database Administrator/ SQL Developer

You will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting MS SQL Server databases across development and production environments. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing backups, restores, and managing recovery models - Conducting performance tuning and optimization (PTO) using native monitoring tools - Implementing and managing high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions - Configuring and maintaining database servers and processes to ensure system health, availability, and security - Approving developers' change requests for database objects such as tables, procedures, indices, constraints, triggers, and views - Assisting developers in performance tuning and query optimization - Independently troubleshooting and resolving database issues in real time - Automating routine processes, monitoring database jobs, and tracking/documenting changes - Collaborating with teams to manage database transitions across multiple product lifecycle stages To be successful in this role, you must have: - Minimum 3+ years of experience as an MS SQL Server DBA - Strong knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, and query plans - Proficiency in backup/restore strategies and recovery models - Solid understanding of HA/DR setups and replication techniques - Experience working in Windows Server environments - Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and techniques - Ability to work independently and resolve issues quickly and effectively - Excellent communication and collaboration skills Atlanta Systems Private Limited, established in 1994, is a trusted leader in IoT-GPS Telematics hardware products & solutions.
