SQL Developer / Database Administrator

As an MS SQL Server Database Administrator, your role will be crucial in administering, maintaining, and supporting MS SQL Server databases across development and production environments. You will be responsible for performing backups, restores, and managing recovery models. Additionally, you will conduct performance tuning and optimization (PTO) using native monitoring tools and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions. Your tasks will also include configuring and maintaining database servers and processes to ensure system health, availability, and security. You will play a key role in approving developers' change requests for database objects and assisting them in performance tuning and query optimization. Independently troubleshooting and resolving database issues in real-time will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will automate routine processes, monitor database jobs, and track/document changes. Collaboration with teams to manage database transitions across multiple product lifecycle stages will also be essential.
