About the role
As a Cloud Engineer in the Marvin & Cloud Native Platform squad within IT Middleware Services Tribe at BNPP Fortis APS, your role involves managing and operating complex Kubernetes infrastructure for application development/deployments related to cloud. Your key responsibilities include: - Managing and operating complex Kubernetes infrastructure (IaaS & PaaS) - Setting up lab, development, test, qualification, and production platforms - Integrating applications on the Kubernetes infrastructure - Maintaining high reliability and availability of the platform - Participating in the On-Call calendar (18:00 7:30) - Incident management and troubleshooting - Improving supportability, scalability, and recovery for the engineered solution - TLS / mTLS management and troubleshooting You are expected to be a motivated self-starter, process-oriented, autonomous with high attention to detail, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to accommodate demanding project schedules. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) are essential for effective collaboration in a multicultural environment. Technical Competencies required for this role include: - Solid and proven experience with troubleshooting and analytical mindset - Generic knowledge of Web access management, PKI, firewalls, application firewalls, load balancers, networks, and DMZ - Experience in an Agile environment (Spotify) - Following Customer processes for projects, incident, and change management Additionally, you should possess transversal skills such as analytical ability, setting up relevant performance indicators, developing and leveraging networks, and developing others & improving their skills. Behavioral skills like collaboration, attention to detail, ability to synthesize and simplify, and strong communication skills are crucial.
