As a QA Engineer / Tester in the Banking IT department focusing on Core Banking, your main role will be to ensure the reliability and scalability of all developed applications on a high-performance, real-time Java platform. You will collaborate closely with developers, architects, and end-users to validate performance, functionality, and user experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating end-user acceptance tests (UAT) and leading performance benchmarking for a mission-critical system managing large data volumes in real time. The project you will be working on involves cash accounts, loro & nostro accounts management, including account balance management, account statements generation, and interest calculation logic. Key Responsibilities: - Design, execute, and maintain functional test plans and test cases aligned with business and technical requirements. - Organize and lead end-user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with internal and external stakeholders. - Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes and validate fixes. - Ensure integration of tests within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Provide clear and consistent test documentation and reporting to technical and business teams. - Monitor key performance indicators and proactively recommend optimizations. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and act as a quality advocate within the team. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, preferably on distributed or high-performance systems. - Bachelors degree in a relevant field. - Strong understanding of functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) methodologies. - Hands-on experience with automation testing tools like Selenium. - Good understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting languages. - Experience integrating tests within CI/CD pipelines. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work effectively in an international team. - Experience with monitoring tools. - Exposure to microservices and real-time streaming architectures. - Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman. - Prior experience collaborating directly with end-users or business stakeholders.
